Hammock made of offcuts

null2elf Innenarchitekten, Düsseldorf (D)
rubber, vinyl, broom handles, sailing rope, rivets

The hammock is made of offcuts of rubber or vinyl meter rolls. The material is cut into strips and processed to form a stable woven with a so-called star weave and then riveted. Broom sticks and sailing ropes serve to fasten the hammock, which can be easily rolled up. It is easily tough enough to endure outdoor use.
