The meaningful use of offcuts is at the heart of the design for this upcycled dress. Offcut material from the fashion made by a work-clothes manufacturer was used. The dress is made from fabric parts from an outfit for craftsmen going on their journeyman years sewed such that it can be produced using only a few offcuts. It noticeably references the traits of guildsmen’s clothing.
