Roswitha Berger-Gentsch, Karlstadt am Main (D)
waste cardboard, contact glue
Waste cartons from discount stores find a new lease of life in this vase: The shape, pattern and color consciously reference precious ancient faience (ceramic, often glazed white and painted blue). Rings cut from cardboard are stacked to create the typical shape. To this, small squares are glued such that the formerly blue print on a white background form a pattern.
