corncob granulate, biologically degradable binder
The residues of the corn harvest, namely the cobs, was used to create a 100% biologically degradable material – comparatively cheap and produced regionally. A sustainable binder ensures it is waterproof and stability is given by drying it in the open air (no energy input). It can be used in many ways indoors and outdoors – as this modular furniture system made of identical elements that bring to mind a stylized corn cob.
